Their Gypsy and Balkan inspired music takes me back to my summers spent in Central Europe roaming the country side, walking through wheat fields, and sitting around bon fires into the early morning.
Theirs is a sound not expected from an indie band that was originally the solo musical project of Santa Fe, New Mexico native Zachary Francis Condon.
Beirut is unique and it’s my pick for the soundtrack for the week. Enjoy!
