VIDEO: Blurred Lines

Since we didn’t post a Soundtrack for the Week on Monday we’re going to give you a little audio/visual treat to lead you into the weekend.

This one comes courtesy of American-Canadian Robin Thicke (the ladies love them some Mr. Thicke) and features vocals from rapper T.I. and singer/producer Pharrell; all three gents share writing credits on the song which was also produced by Pharrell.

Titled “Blurred Lines” the song was released as the lead single for Robin Thicke’s 2013 album of the same name.

Directed by Diane Martel it was originally banned from YouTube for featuring nudity. Some find it derogatory towards women and others have called it the summer’s party anthem. We’re not big believers in censorship so you be the judge – do you love it or hate it?

One thing – if your boss frowns upon frolicking naked women then you might not want to watch this at work.

The models in this video are Polish-Brit Emily Ratajkowski, Jessi M’Bengue, and Elle Evans.
