Kasia Roslaniec is the young Polish filmmaker behind the movie Baby Blues which is playing now at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Having made a splash with her debut feature Mall Girls (which was also selected to play TIFF,) Baby Blues was handpicked for the festival by TIFF’s CEO, Piers Handling, for being “Scrappy, energetic and affecting” and delivering a cliché-free “edgy and disarmingly frank look at teen pregnancy.”
