When it comes to style, the Italian brand Diesel is at the top of our list. So we were particularly excited when Diesel invited us to attend their Walk the One Way celebrity fashion show in support of ONExONE and ONEup.

ONExONE is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of children and ONEup is a group of young philanthropic volunteers supporting the mission of ONExONE.

The organization was founded by Diesel Canada President and CEO Joey Adler in 1995 who, after the death of her husband, was inspired to “promote the philosophy that every single life is infinitely precious and, as importantly, ONE single individual has the power to make a profound and sustainable change in the lives of others.”

Adler’s philosophy has become infectious and her passion for humanitarianism has attracted a dedicated team of super achievers as well as celebrity ambassadors such as Matt Damon.

Last night’s fashion show took place at Cube Nightclub in Toronto.

Hosted by Canadian fashion journalist Glen Baxter (formerly of the ground breaking 27 year running Fashion Television and InFashion series – our fave fashion shows of all time!) the event featured celebs such as STACEY MCKENZIE (Model), LYRIQ BENT (actor, Rookie Blue), JACQUI SKEETE, (television personality, Oh So Cosmo), DAVID ROCCO (actor, TV host, and producer, La Dolce Vita), JULLY BLACK (musician) and NATALIE BROWN (actress, Being Human)

Joey Adler flew in from Montreal to oversee the event which showcased Diesel’s F/W collection. But as she pointed out – the event was not about the clothes; it was about people coming together to, one-by-one, make a difference.

Here are some of the stylish people that attended. You can see more photos on our facebook page – and if you’re so inclined please LIKE us.
