From May 6 to May 10 Canadian Music Week will take over the city.
Dedicated to the expression and growth of Canada’s music, media and entertainment industries, CMW encompasses three conferences, a trade expo, a film festival, a comedy festival, four awards shows and the nation’s largest new music festival.
In other words it’s ginormous.
So what better way to blast things off than with a lyrical head punch by none other than MIA.
That’s right, Miss Bad Girl herself.
Four-hundred fans and Canadian Music Week wristband holders will have an exclusive opportunity to see the British-Sri Lankan hip hopstress in an intimate show at Tattoo Queen West this Saturday, May 3rd.
Interested? Want tickets?
On Wednesday, April 30th at 6pm, 200 wristbands will be given out at Tattoo Queen West (567 Queen Street West). The wristbands will allow front-of-line access to the event. All attendees must be 19 years or older and you must bring valid ID for pick-up. One wristband per person, wristbands are non-transferable.
Don’t miss this opportunity and good luck!
Now for the music; tunes don’t get any catchier than this MIA and Dj Diplo created track “Paper Planes.”
