Toronto fashion week has come and gone, delivering with it its own dose of excitement, energy and some really cool fashion both on and off the runway.
The event gets bigger and bigger each season. And this year’s edition (in its 13th official year) was truly inspiring. It’s great to see Toronto’s fashion spectacle grow and Torontonians grow more stylish with it.
What impressed me the most was the professional caliber of the entire thing; from the venue and the music and lightening on stage to the courteous volunteers and stylish guests that attended the shows. The event looked fantastic, felt exciting and above all else, the designs were memorable.
Situated in a mammoth tent at David Pecaut Square (beside Toronto’s landmark Roy Thomson Hall) it delivered an impressive array of fashion from established and new designers.
One of those designers was Vancouver based Eva Chen who invited us for a look at her fall/winter 2012 “Elegance” collection.
Here is a glimpse at her graceful frocks and the chic people that attended the show. More photos are available on our Facebook page.
