On October 7th, young professionals of the Polish diaspora from across the globe gathered in Warsaw for the Pangea II Conference (named so after the organization that initiated the event).

The two day event labeled “Transfer of Success 2011 – Entrepreneurship without Borders” focused on entrepreneurship and provided a platform for young entrepreneurs and creative minds to make contacts and gain valuable insight from a panel of impressive speakers.

Among the special guests were: Jerzy Buzek, President of the European Parliament, Grzegorz Schetyna, Marshal of the Sejm RP, Slawomir Majman, President of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, Michal Boni, Minister and Head of Strategic Advisors of the Prime Minister, Marek Belka, Polish Prime Minister 2004-2005 and Ludwik Sobolewski, Chairman of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Seminars took place in the Polish Parliament as well as the Warsaw Stock Exchange and focused on topics such as economic and social aspects of business development, economic changes, entrepreneurship, innovation and development stimulating modernization.

On the first evening, participants were also treated to a cocktail reception hosted by the Employers of Poland Organization and a gala dinner, on Saturday, to conclude the conference.
Much like in 2010, those that attended the conference, departed with a boost of motivation and an arsenal of great connections and resources to help them succeed in the development and growth of their own business and projects.
